Sustainability
We’ve taken from what we’ve learned from 20 years of forestry experience and harnessed it in one simple stump grinder tool. From this, we developed Dipperfox.
Mother Nature is not a resource – it’s a gift. For that reason alone our products are driven by the notion of Smart Work. So, whatever task you undertake with Dipperfox – it’s quick, efficient and environmentally friendly.

Our focus areas
-
Circular economy and design
We design Dipperfox products for long life and practical circularity. That means durable construction, repairability, responsible material choices and design solutions that support disassembly and recycling at end of life.
Our aim is to keep products in use longer through repair, refurbishment and reuse wherever possible. We are also developing our product lifecycle approach further, including product passport thinking and modular solutions that improve utilization across different work types.
This is not circularity as a slogan. It is a product strategy focused on longevity, serviceability and better use of materials over time. -
Managing ecological footprint
We work to reduce our environmental impact both in operations and across the wider value chain. Dipperfox uses 100% green energy in operations, including solar panels and green electricity, and we track energy generation and use as part of our footprint management. We have also measured our organisational carbon footprint and use it as a baseline for further improvement.
At the same time, we are preparing for product-level CO₂ assessment and broader Scope 3 management. This work is important because it helps us make better decisions in design, sourcing and logistics, and build a more transparent picture of product impact over time. -
Healthy working environment
Sustainability also means building a company people want to be part of. We are committed to a safe, fair and supportive working environment that values well-being, inclusion and professional growth.
Our ESG approach includes clear attention to employee welfare, equal opportunity and long-term capability building. We believe strong products are built by strong teams, and responsible growth depends on both. -
Responsible sourcing and local manufacturing
Dipperfox is made in Estonia, and our manufacturing approach reflects that. We work to strengthen a local and responsible supply chain, and according to our supplier mapping, the majority of product-related suppliers are located within 10 km of our production site. This supports local business, improves supply chain resilience and helps reduce transport-related emissions.
We also prioritize cooperation with partners who meet environmental expectations and support our long-term sustainability goals. -
Governance and continuous improvement
Our sustainability work is guided by a structured ESG approach. Dipperfox has developed an ESG Strategy 2030 built around three pillars: Circular Economy & Design, Healthy Working Environment and Managing Ecological Footprint. We are integrating this strategy into management practices across the company and aligning our reporting approach with recognized frameworks such as GRI, while using double materiality thinking to understand both our impacts and the sustainability factors that affect our business.
We do not treat sustainability as finished. We treat it as ongoing work that must be measured, improved and made more transparent over time. - Looking ahead Our direction is clear: build efficient stump removal solutions with longer lifecycles, lower unnecessary impact and stronger accountability across the value chain. That means continuing to invest in product development, circular design, responsible sourcing, cleaner operations and better data. It also means staying focused on practical results, because sustainability only matters if it works in the real world.
